GENERAL

We are not responsible for any goat once it leaves our property.  So please do your due diligence vetting transports if you are not picking up yourself.  Goats get sick on transports, even under the best of conditions. We only guarantee they are healthy when they leave our possession. We do guarantee animals free from any known genetic defects.  If you find a genetic defect, we request you make us aware of the situation accompanied by a written statement from a licensed vet if necessary, and we are happy to discuss replacement options. Please note that replacements will be equal value of the animal being replaced at the time you purchased it.   We do not guarantee height.  Otherwise, animals are sold AS IS with no guarantees besides what is aforementioned.

KID DEPOSITS:

1/2 of asking price is due to hold a kid for up to two weeks. Balance is due at the time animal is picked up or two weeks after deposit is received, whichever comes first.  Other arrangements can be discussed. Once you put a deposit down/pay in full on an animal it is NON-REFUNDABLE.

KIDS

We bottle/bucket feed ALL KIDS. We realize this is not compatible with everyone's schedule so we will offer to bucket/bottle for a longer amount of time (up to 8wks and down to 1 bottle a day).  Kids are sold as is with the exception of genetic defects as mentioned above. There will be a $25 per week fee for this service that will start after the 2-week grace period. After two weeks it will become a boarding situation where we will not be liable for death, injury, or illness of your kid. If kids stay longer than 8 wks, there will continue to be a $25/week fee and will accrue an additional $2/day boarding fee for duration they are here. Kids will come with ADGA paperwork. (papers or application). Buyer is responsible for DNA costs should they choose to DNA. Kids will receive wormer, CDT Vaccines, and Cocci preventative at appropriate ages while here.

ADULTS

Unless otherwise discussed, adult goats are expected to be paid in full and then picked up within 2 weeks of sale date.  Adult goats are sold as is with the exception of genetic defects as mentioned above. After two weeks, board at $2.00 a day will accrue and as a boarding situation we will not liable for death, injury, or illness.  Vet costs are also responsibility of buyer. Once you put a deposit down/pay in full on an animal it is NON-REFUNDABLE.

CVI's / BIOSCREENING

We are happy to take animals to get CVI's.  We live 45 minutes from the nearest vet and in the middle of kidding season we may not be able to work in a vet visit so may have to utilize a farm call.  CVI / Health inspection / required testing fees / Farm Call fees are the responsibility of the buyer.  We will charge a $25 trip fee for hauling to the vet for CVI"s unless otherwise discussed.

We are happy to run current bio-screening on any adult animal that the buyer wishes.  For regular testing we can pull our own blood.  For some testing, we would be required to utilize a vet.  All Vet and Bio-screen fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

TRANSPORTS

We live in the middle of nowhere central MT.  We are happy to meet buyers / transports within reason.  Please note that you may be required to provide fuel reimbursement for the service of hauling your animals to meet you or transports.  We understand transport can be a moving target and will work with it the best we can.

Unless otherwise discussed and in writing, we will consider buyers aware of our sales policy as it is written upon receiving payment, including deposits. We welcome questions and discussions on our policies.  We realize there are a lot of unique situations that can come up and are happy to work with people on an individual basis should the need arise.
